Product Description
Sulfachloropyrazine Sodium is white or yellowish powder antibacterial insecticide. It is mainly used in the treatment of explosive coccidiosis of sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbit and it can be used in the treatment of fowl cholera and typhoid fever.
Adverse Reaction
Long term excessive application will appear sulfa drug poisoning symptoms, the symptoms will disappear after drug withdrawal .
Caution
It is forbidden to long-term use as additives of feedstuff.
Application
1.The effect of sulfaquinoxaline on poultry coccidiasis is similar to that of sulfaquinoxaline, and has a stronger antibacterial effect, and can even treat avian cholera and typhoid fever, so it is most suitable for the treatment of coccidiosis outbreaks.
The application of sulfaclopyrazine did not affect host immunity to coccidia.
2.Other this product is also quite effective for free coccidiosis, when it can be used per 1000kg of feed, add 600g sulfameclopiazine sodium, even feed for 5 to 10 days.
For lamb coccidiosis, 1.2mL of 3% solution can be taken orally for 3 to 5 days per lkg body weight.
Pharmacology and application
After internal administration, the drug is rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract, and the blood concentration reaches the peak in 3 ~ 4h, and is quickly excreted through the kidney. It is mainly used in short term during coccidia outbreak. The peak period of its anticoccidial activity was the second generation schizozoite of coccidia, that is, the 4th day after infection. It also has some effect on the merozoite. The characteristics of the action on poultry coccidia are similar to that of sulfaquinoline, and it has stronger antibacterial effect on Pasteurella and salmonella, which does not affect the body’s immunity to coccidia, and is ineffective to coccidia in the sexual cycle stage.
It is mainly used for the treatment of coccidiosis in birds and rabbits, and is most suitable for the treatment of coccidiosis outbreaks.
Attention
1.Although the toxicity of this product is lower than that of sulfaquinoxaline, long-term application will still cause symptoms of sulfanilamide poisoning, so broilers can only be used for 3 days according to the recommended concentration, and not more than 5 days.
2. In view of the fact that most farms in China have applied sulfanilamide drugs (such as SQ, SM2, etc.) for decades, coccidia may have developed resistance to sulfanilamide drugs, or even cross-resistance, therefore, in case of poor efficacy, drugs should be replaced in time.
3. Laying hens and chickens over 16 weeks of age are prohibited.
4. The withdrawal period is 4 days for turkeys and 1 day for broilers.
