Product Description
USE
Chlorbenzuron belongs to the benzoylurea class of insect chitin synthesis inhibitors, and is an insect hormone pesticide. By inhibiting the activities of insect epidermal chitin synthase and urinary nucleoside coenzyme, insect chitin synthesis is inhibited, leading to insect failure to molt normally and death.
Features
The main manifestation is gastric toxicity. It showed good insecticidal activity against Lepidoptera larvae. It is almost harmless to beneficial insects, bees and other Hymenoptera insects and forest birds. But it has an impact on red eyed bees.
This kind of medicament is widely used to control Lepidoptera pests such as peach leafminer, tea black moth, Ectropis obliqua, cabbage caterpillar, cabbage armyworm, wheat armyworm, corn borer, moth and noctuid.
Precautions
1. This drug has the best control effect in the larval stage before the 2nd instar, and the older the insect age, the worse the control effect.
2. The efficacy of this drug is not apparent until 3-5 days after application, and a peak of death occurs around 7 days. Avoid mixing with quick acting insecticides, as they lose their green, safe, and environmentally friendly effects and significance.
3. The suspension agent of chloramphenicol has sedimentation phenomenon. When using it, it should be shaken well before diluting with a small amount of water, and then adding water to the appropriate concentration. Stir well before spraying. Be sure to spray evenly.
4. Chloramphenicol drugs should not be mixed with alkaline substances to avoid reducing their efficacy. Mixing them with general acidic or neutral drugs will not reduce their efficacy.
