Bifenthrin has contact killing and stomach toxicity effects, but no systemic or fumigation activity. It has a fast killing speed, a long-lasting effect, and a broad insecticidal spectrum. It is mainly used to control pests such as Lepidoptera larvae, whiteflies, aphids, and herbivorous spider mites.
Uses of Bifenthrin
1. Control underground pests of melon, peanut and other crops such as grubs, wireworms, etc.
2. Control vegetable pests such as aphids, diamondback moths, diamondback moths, beet armyworms, cabbage worms, greenhouse whiteflies, eggplant red spider mites and tea yellow mites.
3. Control tea tree pests such as tea inchworm, tea caterpillar, tea black poison moth, tea stinging moth, small green leafhopper, tea yellow thrip, tea short-bearded mite, leaf gall moth, black-spined whitefly and tea spotted beetle.
Usage Method of Bifenthrin
1.To control eggplant red spider mites, 30-40 milliliters of 10% bifenthrin emulsifiable concentrate can be applied per mu, mixed evenly with 40-60 kilograms of water and then sprayed. The long-lasting effect lasts for about 10 days. The tea yellow mite on eggplants can be controlled by spraying 30 milliliters of 10% bifenthrin emulsifiable concentrate mixed evenly with 40 kilograms of water.
2. At the initial stage of the occurrence of whiteflies in vegetables, melons and other crops, 20-35 milliliters of 3% bifenthrin water emulsion or 20-25 milliliters of 10% bifenthrin water emulsion can be applied per mu, mixed with 40-60 kilograms of water for spraying control.
3. For pests such as inchworms, small green leafhoppers, tea caterpillars and black-spined whiteflies on tea trees, 1000 to 1500 times diluted pesticide solution can be sprayed for control during the 2 to 3-year-old stage when they are young and when nymphs occur.
4. During the occurrence period of adult and nymphs such as aphids, whiteflies and red spiders on vegetables of the cruciferous and Cucurbitaceae families, 1000 to 1500 times diluted liquid medicine can be sprayed for control.
5. For the control of mites such as cotton and cotton red spider, as well as pests like citrus leaf moth, 1000 to 1500 times diluted pesticide solution can be sprayed on the plants during the egg incubation or peak incubation period and the adult stage.
