Fipronil, what pests can it treat?

Fipronil is an insecticide that mainly kills pests by stomach poisoning, and has both contact and certain systemic properties. It can not only control the occurrence of pests by foliar spraying, but also can be applied to the soil to control the underground pests, and the control effect of fipronil is relatively long, and the half-life in the soil can reach 1-3 months.

3How to use fipronil:

1. Control moth pests: 5% fipronil can be used with 20-30 ml per mu, diluted with water and sprayed evenly on vegetables or crops. For large trees and densely planted plants, it can be increased in moderation.

2. Prevention and control of rice pests: 5% fipronil can be sprayed evenly with 30-60 ml of water per mu to prevent and control the two borers, three borers, locusts, rice planthoppers, rice weevil, thrips, etc.

3. Soil treatment: Fipronil can be used as soil treatment to control underground pests.

Since fipronil has a certain impact on the rice ecosystem, the country has banned the use of it in rice. At present, it is mainly used for the control of dry field crops, vegetables and garden plants, forest diseases and insect pests and sanitary pests.

5Notes:

1. Fipronil is highly toxic to fish and shrimp, and it is prohibited to use it in fish ponds and paddy fields.
