Herbicide Used for Controlling of Grasses Bispyribac-sodium
Bispyribac-sodium is used for controlling of grasses, sedges and broad-leaved weeds, especially Echinochloa spp., in direct-seeded rice, at rates of 15-45 g/ha. It also used to stunt growth of weeds in non-crop situations.Herbicide. Bispyribac-sodium is a broad-spectrum herbicide that controls annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds and sedges. It has a wide window of application and can be used from the 1-7 leaf stages of Echinochloa spp; the recommended timing being the 3-4 leaf stage. The product is for foliar application. Flooding of the paddy field is recommended within 1-3 days of application. Following application, the weeds take approximately two weeks to die. Plants exhibit chlorosis and cessation of growth 3 to 5 days after application. This is followed by necrosis of terminal tissues.
Usage
It is used to control grass weeds and broad-leaved weeds such as barnyard grass in rice fields, and can be used in seedling fields, direct seeding fields, small seedling transplant fields, and seedling throwing fields.
