Widely Used Household Insecticide Diethyltoluamide

Diethyltoluamide is the most common active ingredient in Household Insecticide. It is a slightly yellow oil intended to be applied to the skin or to clothing, and effectly control flies, ticks, fleas, chiggers, leeches, and many biting insects.It can be used as Agriculture Pesticides,mosquito Larvicide spray,flea Adulticide and so on.

Advantage:DEET is a very good repellent. It can repel a variety of stinging insects in a variety of environments. DEET repels biting flies, midges, black flies, chiggers, deer flies, fleas, black flies, horse flies, mosquitoes, sand flies, small flies, barn flies and ticks. Applying it to the skin can provide protection for hours. When sprayed on clothing, DEET usually provides protection for several days.

Proposed Dosage

It can be formulated with ethanol to make 15% or 30% diethyltoluamide formulation, or dissolve in suitable solvent with vaseline, olefin etc. to formulate ointment used as repellent directly on skin, or formulate into aerosol sprayed to collars, cuff and skin.
